Hi everybody, I am running for the position of Oklahoma County Sheriff. The election will be November 4th, 2008. I'm running on the Republican ticket, even though my priorities is to serve everyone fairly regardless of their political party affiliation or preference. This campaign has been a busy one .
I am running against a incumbant of three terms [12] years in office. It is time for a new Sheriff and time for well needed changes. I'm not your everyday polished politician running for office, even though numerous politics play into this profession of law enforcement, I am simply a former deputy who believes in making good changes for the Sheriff's office and our community. All citizens will be treated equally and respectively.
I'm only asking for everyone's prayers and support. The tax payers have paid enough for the Sheriff's office, it is time the Sheriff's office works within its own budget. This means to stop buying unnecessary equipment and unwise spending . The jail has reduced its prisoner population to around 2300, a number that should be properly managed. .. the jail has never been considered a priority when managing the overall budget, so it only figures that when you take care of your yard before the house .. it is only a matter of time the house will begin to falter.
